Although Hamilton Masakadza believed the pitch would not deteriorate too much on the final day of the match when he won the toss and chose to bowl, Waller indicated some of the cracks could cause problems for Zimbabwe when they bat again.”I think the fourth innings will be very different,” Waller said. “There are few footmarks for the left-handers and there are some cracks. Even though they are not opening up much, they might do later on. With that aim, they will also look to deny Pakistan what Waller considers the best of the batting conditions on the middle day of the match. “Tomorrow will be really good for batting,” he said. “It might do a bit in the morning but if we can see that off and bat for as long as possible that will be good for us.”Being down to their last batting pair of sorts means a large amount of the run-scoring responsibility will fall on Elton Chigumbura and Shingi Masakadza, who turned 27 today and said he plans to the spend the evening “quietly”. Against a Pakistan attack with a ball just seven overs old, Waller said the line-up knows exactly what they are up against. “Make no mistake, their whole attack is very good. But it’s not sharp turn, it’s slow turn.”With little to assist him, Ajmal confessed he was “not happy” with his figures because “I have to take a few more wickets”. But for now, he is content to leave it to the likes of Rahat Ali to do the damage and in the process cement a place in the team. “He is a youngster and he is learning. In the future, he will be very good for Pakistan,” he said.

وأضاف: “الأهلي أعطى المدرب كافة الصلاحيات، وكان مسئولًا عن قراراته الفنية والإدارية في الفريق، والدليل استبعاده أيمن أشرف رغم كونه واحدًا من اللاعبين المميزين، واللاعب تقبل الأمر ولم يفتعل أي مشكلة، كولر سيطر على كافة الأمور بشكل جيد”.

وواصل: “كولر أعطى لقاء الزمالك درجة اهتمام عالية، ورفض فكرة الاحتفال بالدوري، لأنه يدرك أهمية اللقاء، كما أنه أعطى اللاعبين راحة في ظل الإجهاد، لكنه يركز أيضا على لقاء الزمالك، لكن النجاح بدأ من الإدارة ثم انتقل للجهاز الفني واللاعبين”.

واستطرد: “الأهلي دائمًا يهتم بكل التفاصيل، وصفقات يناير كانت لها دور كبير في تدعيم الفريق، وكانت نقطة فارقة في مسيرة الموسم الحالي، ولذلك عندما تلقى النادي عرضا لـ حمدي فتحي تم تقييم الأمور، وسوف يتواصل نجاح طريقة لعب الفريق مع التدعيمات الصيفية”.

واستأنف: “الأهلي يتبقى له بطولتي كأس مصر والسوبر الإفريقي، وهذه البطولات مطلوبة أيضًا، الأهلي حقق 100% من أهدافه ويتبقى له بطولتان للوصول لمرحلة الكمال”.

واستكمل: “مواجهة الاهلي والزمالك لن تكون سهلة، خصوصًا أن الفريق الأبيض لديه إيجابيات في الفترة الماضية وحدث له تطور واضح مع أوسوريو، وسيكون هناك عمل كبير من المدربين، بينما الأهلي الأهداف تغيرت بعد حسم لقب الدوري، وجزء كبير من المباراة سيتوقف على عقلية اللاعبين داخل الملعب”.

Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahim wants his side to continue the consistency they showed in the first Test, and feels that New Zealand are the team under more pressure.”I think they are under pressure,” Mushfiqur said. “It is not easy to play in our home conditions. They wouldn’t want to lose to a side ranked lower than them.”We want to win this Test match. I think they would also want a result in this game. After the first two days, you can see which way the game is heading. The first innings is going to be vital in this Test. So we want to start well.”But in the last couple of years, Bangladesh’s record in second Tests of the usual two-match series that they play have been poor, particularly after they impressed in the first match of the series.Against Sri Lanka in March, they drew the first Test in Galle but were strangled in Colombo, to lose by seven wickets. Similarly at home in 2012, they ran West Indies close in the first Test in Dhaka before going down easily in Khulna. Against the same opponents in 2011, a similar theme continued when they drew the first Test but was crushed by 229 runs in the second game.Mushfiqur believes that since the home team dominated long passages of play and had more individual performances in Chittagong, they hold the upper hand over the visitors.”We are hungry to win the second Test,” Mushfiqur said. “We had a lot of gains from the first game, but it was a draw. We wanted to win. The whole team is keen to win the game and the series. It is a huge challenge to play well in two Tests in a row, but the players are responsible these days. So I hope we remain consistent.”We dominated three days of the Chittagong Test, so I would say we are ahead of them, mentally. Several players are just itching to get out there and perform. If we can combine it as a team, we will do well.”Some say that Mushfiqur’s biggest advantage is that two of his best players, Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan, are yet to make big contributions in 2013. They have had quiet times in Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and in the Chittagong Test against New Zealand. Shakib did get a fifty in the second innings, but still hasn’t hit the level he has maintained in the last four years.”Shakib and Tamim are relaxed. They are always thinking about doing well in the next match. There are more performers in the team, around seven or eight guys. But the records of those two in Mirpur are great, so I am hoping that they do well here.”Bangladesh are likely to keep the same playing eleven, but there were some murmurs of a third seamer being given a go in place of Abdur Razzak.”It is likely that we will play the same combination. We will take a call tomorrow morning, but I am hoping to keep the seven batsman-four bowlers blend intact.”

وتابع: “رأيت فرصة للتعرف على ثقافة جديدة، لطالما أحببت أمريكا، فقد كانت واحدة من أكثر الأماكن التي أحببت الذهاب إليها، بالنسبة لي شخصيًا، كان ذلك تحديًا لأنني أردت رد الجميل للرياضة التي أحبها في معظم الأحيان مما قدمته لي على مر السنين”.

وواصل: “ميسي من أعظم اللاعبين في تاريخ الرياضة ولا يزال متعطشًا للفوز، رأيته في ملعب التدريب، نحن نحضر لاعبين لديهم الطموح الصحيح، لا يهم أين هم في مسيرتهم، نريد لاعبين جائعين وميسي كذلك وهو في حالة جيدة”.

وعن إمكانية مشاركة ميسي في مباراة كروز آزول: “هذا يعتمد على تاتا مارتينز، لكنني أعتقد ذلك، إنه جاهز للعب وأنا مقتنع بأنه سيلعب”.

وبسؤاله عن الأهداف الموضوعة على مستوى النتائج، رد: “الهدف هو المنافسة، طبعًا نريد نتائج، كلنا نريد الفوز، لكن وجود ميسي معنا هو بالفعل نجاح، إنه نجاح لدوري كرة القدم الأمريكية، وهذه الرياضة التي أحبها كثيرًا، إن رؤية ردود أفعال الناس، والشغف، أمر رائع لميامي وللبلد، ليس فقط لعالم كرة القدم، ولكن للرياضة بشكل عام في البلاد”.

وعن المعاملة التي تلقاها ليو من جماهير باريس سان جيرمان، اختتم: “لا يمكنني التحدث باسم ميسي، فالمعجبون معي كانوا دائمًا مثيرين للإعجاب”.

Rodrigo Amorim ficou conhecido por aparecer em fotos quebrando uma placa com o nome de Marielle Franco, vereadora carioca do PSOL assassinada em fevereiro de 2018. Amorim, foi eleito para seu primeiro mandato como o deputado estadual mais votado no Rio de Janeiro, com mais de 140 mil votos.

No dia 1º de março, o Flamengo publicou uma nota em resposta a Ancelmo Góis, do jornal “O Globo”. O colunista havia publicado que, no dia 31 de março, quando o golpe militar completou 55 anos, o clube tinha feito uma homenagem à memória deStuart Angel, ex-remador rubro-negro que foi preso e assassinado durante a ditadura militar, em 1971.

O confronto

Having won the toss and decided to bat, only two Afghanistan players – Mohammad Shahzad and Najibullah Zadran – made it into double figures in a meagre total of 90. None of the Netherlands bowlers conceded more than 5.50 runs an over, with Mudassar Bukhari, Paul van Meekeren, Pieter Seelaar and Ahsan Malik all claiming two wickets. Captain Peter Borren then thrashed 38 from 15 balls after two wickets for Mohammad Nabi had briefly checked the run chase.

Nepal’s chase got off to a horrific start though, with two wickets falling before they had scored. Khadka then dominated a 67-run partnership for the third wicket by scoring 48 off 34 balls. After he was dismissed, Nepal lost two more wickets with the score on 68, before they achieved the target in 13.1 overs.

Allrounder Tim Bresnan has been added to England’s Ashes squad and could play in the second Test in Adelaide, which starts on December 5.Bresnan, 28, was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his lower back in August and missed the final Test of the Ashes in England. While he arrived in Australia with the Test squad, his on-going involvement was always dependent on him proving his fitness ahead of the second Test.Having taken four wickets in the England Performance Programmes’ match against Queensland Second XI last week and undergone a thorough fitness test afterwards, he has now officially been added to the squad. He has also been bowling at full pace in the nets for a couple of weeks.Chris Tremlett filled the third fast bowler’s spot normally taken by Bresnan in Brisbane but produced a modest performance. With England also keen to strengthen the batting after a dismal performance in the first Test and the loss of Jonathan Trott, Bresnan, a far better batsman than Tremlett, could be set for an almost immediate return. Both Steven Finn and Boyd Rankin all but bowled themselves out of contention with disappointing performances in Alice Springs.It appears that Gary Ballance will benefit from Trott’s departure and win the chance to bat at No. 6 in Adelaide, with Joe Root or Ian Bell set to move to No. 3. Root, despite an unconvincing performance in Alice Springs, appears the more likely choice, with the England camp reluctant to weaken a strength by moving Bell from the No. 5 position from which he largely defined the previous series in England.
