As mascotes dos dois clubes recepcionaram e entregaram camisas e brindes para os meninos durante a excursão ao Museu do Futebol nesta terça-feira, no Pacaembu.

A história viralizou na internet após Matheus Monteiro, de 12 anos, usar o dinheiro que ganhou de aniversário para pagar a ida do amigo Iago à excursão da escola municipal onde estuam, em Bragança Paulista (SP). O passeio custava R$ 45.

O são-paulino Matheus e o corintiano Iago foram surpreendidos pelas mascotes de seus respectivos clubes, o Santo Paulo e o Mosqueteiro. O Tricolor registou o encontro em seu perfil no Twitter.

Coincidentemente, a atual exposição no Museu do Futebol é a “Clássico é clássico, e vice-versa”.

Baroda left-arm spinner Bhargav Bhatt took six wickets to run through Odisha’s middle order on the first day in Vadodara. Odisha’s Govind Podder made a battling 82 but he had very little support from the rest of the batsmen, with five of the top seven making single-digit scores. Around lunch time, Odisha were at a reasonably comfortable 82 for 2, before a Bhatt double-strike, including the wicket of the in-form Biplab Samantary, pulled them back. Bhatt struck twice in an over soon after leaving Odisha at 105 for 6, and it took a brisk unbeaten 37 from the No. 9 Saurabh Sehgal to take the score to 181. Baroda lost the wicket of opener Saurabh Wakaskar as they reached 34 for 1 by stumps.

Suresh Raina fluffed another chance to press for a place in the Test middle order by falling for 8, but Uttar Pradesh still finished the day on a solid 248 for 4 thanks to a long partnership between Mohammad Kaif and opener Mukul Dagar. Vidarbha removed Tanmay Srivastava in the third over, before Kaif and Dagar put on 195 patient runs for the second wicket. Dagar went on to complete his third century in five matches, while for the third time this Ranji season Kaif failed to reach his hundred despite crossing 80. Vidarbha got some respite towards the end of the day as Sandeep Singh removed both Kaif and Raina, before Shrikant Wagh had Dagar bowled for 116.

Haryana’s batting has been notoriously fragile this season, and they seemed headed for another low total after slipping to 63 for 4 against Maharashtra, but substantial contributions from the lower-middle order lifted them to a middling score. Opener Rahul Dewan was the only one in the top order to resist as Maharashtra’s quicks struck several times early. Yatharth Tomar, playing only his second first-class match and his first since 2010, hit 48 to steady the innings before Amit Mishra, who made a crucial half-century in their win over Delhi earlier this week, chipped in with 35. The top scorer of the innings was Jayant Yadav, with 63, his second first-class half-century.

On a pitch that resembled a lawn, with the only patches of white near the rough on either side, Karnataka captain Vinay Kumar chose to give his batsmen first use of the pitch, despite their batting struggles all season. While it might be perceived as a brave decision, it backfired on the hosts. Karnataka were still searching for their first outright win, and they were presented with what looked like a result-oriented wicket. Delhi weren’t complaining though. Their seamers, led by Parvinder Awana, bundled out the hosts for 192 and ended the day in front despite losing two wickets as the shadows lengthened in Bangalore. A full match report is here.

O Santos apresentou nesta terça-feira seu novo treinador. Em evento no Museu do Futebol, no Pacaembu, o argentino Jorge Sampaoli disse esperar estar “à altura” do clube e da empolgação da torcida com sua contratação e assegurou ter escolhido o Peixe por ver na equipe elementos e perfil muito parecido com os de suas próprias ideias. Empolgado com o primeiro desafio no Brasil, torce por um “casamento perfeito”.

– Antes de tudo, obrigado pela presença de todos e pela possibilidade que tenho de estar em uma instituição histórica. Que eu esteja à altura dessa história. Tratei de buscar sempre um lugar onde sua história tenha a ver com minha ideia futebolística depois de sair da Argentina. Depois de analisar um montão de projetos, apareceu o Santos e não duvidei – disse, durante o evento, e completou:

– Aqui eu tenho muito a fazer e desfrutar de jogadores com características do futebol brasileiro. Quero voltar a desfrutar do jogo, protagonizar desde o início e tentar que cada jogador que chegue a Santos saiba claramente o lugar onde está.Minha ideia é muito mais pensar na trave do adversário do que na minha. وكان ميسي قد سافر إلى المملكة العربية السعودية، أمس الإثنين، في إطار منصبه كسفير للترويج للسياحة المحلية في الدولة العربية.

وتسببت تلك الزيارة في إثارة غضب مسؤولي باريس سان جيرمان لكونها مفاجئة، حيث لم يكونوا على علم بسفره.

وذكرت تقارير صحفية مختلفة اليوم أن باريس سان جيرمان قرر معاقبة ميسي بإيقافه عن اللعب لمدة أسبوعين، بينما أفادت تقارير أخرى بأن عقد ميسي لن يُجدد في حديقة الأمراء.

وسُئل تشافي عن وضع ميسي، وذلك خلال تصريحاته بعد فوز برشلونة على أوساسونا بهدف دون رد في الدوري الإسباني.

ورد تشافي قائلًا: “يجب أن أتخذ الكثير من القرارات في برشلونة، ليس لدي رأي حول ما يحدث في الأندية الأخرى مع ميسي، لا يمكنني التعليق”.

On the eve of the meeting in which Cricket South Africa will restructure its board, the organisation has been dealt another blow. Acting chief executive Jacques Faul has confirmed he will not apply for the post full-time which means CSA will need to search for a new boss.”I don’t see myself doing the job permanently,” Faul told ESPNcricinfo while sources close to him said the recent infighting was the last straw. Faul has been in the position as a stand-in since March last year after Gerald Majola was suspended and then dismissed. His tenure will only end when a replacement has been found.Since Faul was appointed, CSA’s board has had multiple speed bumps on the road to transition. The latest involves a feud with the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) over the composition of the new structure. In accordance with the ministerial-convened Nicholson commission, CSA’s new board must contain five independent directors, one of whom is the chairperson but SASCOC are opposed to an independent chair.Tomorrow, CSA will decide how they will make up their new board and whether they will honour Nicholson or give in to SASCOC. They will also make a call on the acting president Willie Basson against whom allegations of Apartheid-era wrongdoing were made last week. Basson’s initial threat of resignation and subsequent withdrawal has thrown the board into further turmoil which Faul has decided he can do without in the long-term.The post of CEO has been advertised but the successful applicant can only be appointed after the new board is put in place. Faul was considered the frontrunner for the job because of the positive gains made by CSA in his time in office. The organisation went from losing major sponsors across all formats during the Majola debacle to regaining corporate backing to the tune of millions of Rands.Although deals with Test-sponsor Sunfoil and ODI-backer Momentum were put in place before Faul took over, under him the former’s agreement was extended and the latter’s sewn up. Fast-food giant KFC have the naming rights to international and domestic T20 matches and Blue Label Telecoms back the T20 squad. Some of those agreements now also hang in the balance because they were conditional to board restructure.Faul was previously the CEO of the North West Cricket Union and has had a long involvement in the game. He is completing a doctorate and may walk away from cricket altogether, although he has also been linked to the Titans job, who also have an acting CEO in operation after the sudden death of their boss Elise Lombard last August.Former ICC CEO Haroon Lorgat has also expressed interest in the position but stipulated that he would only consider it if the corporate governance issues at CSA had been sorted out. Since leaving the ICC, Lorgat has worked as a consultant with Sri Lanka Cricket and is now doing work in Pakistan. Lorgat has worked with CSA before as convenor of selectors.

ستقام أول مباراتين في ولاية كاليفورنيا؛ وتبدأ بمواجهة يوفنتوس يوم 22 يوليو في سانتا كلارا، وفي 26 يوليو ضد آرسنال.

وستقام آخر مباراتين في دالاس تكساس، أمام ريال مدريد في 29 يوليو وفي لاس فيجاس حيث ستختتم الجولة بمباراة ضد ميلان.

كانت آخر مواجهة بين برشلونة ويوفنتوس في مباراة ودية الموسم الماضي في جولة الصيف، وانتهت بالتعادل 2-2.

وبالنسبة لمواجهة الكلاسيكو أمام ريال مدريد، فهو اللقاء الثالث بين الفريقين في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. 

في مباراتيه السابقتين ضد ريال مدريد في الولايات المتحدة، فاز برشلونة 3-2 على ملعب هارد روك في ميامي في عام 2017 و1-0 على ملعب أليجيانت في لاس فيجاس في عام 2022.

وفيما يتعلق بمباراة ميلان، التقى الفريقان في مناسبتين سابقتين بالولايات المتحدة بفوز برشلونة 2-0 في 2003 في واشنطن وفوز ميلان 1-0 في 2018 في سانتا كلارا.

Vassilli Orros’ 69 sparked a recovery before a last-wicket stand of 79 took South Africa to a respectable 228 and the hosts then took early wickets to leave England on 52 for 3 at the close.Kagiso Rabada, whose 46 batting at No. 11 was South Africa’s second-top score, made the opening breakthrough before his last-wicket partner, Jan Frylinck, added another. From 7 for 2, England recovered through Dominic Sibley and Kishen Velani but the latter fell for 25 shortly before the close.England losing their way managed to overshadow a fine performance with the ball by their captain, Oli Stone. The Northamptonshire quick took 5 for 31 from 21 overs as South Africa seemingly squandered the opportunity to bat first after winning the toss.
