كشف سهيل العريفي مدير قطاع الفاعليات بمجلس أبو ظبي، عن ترتيبات مباراة السوبر المصري التي تجمع بين الأهلي والزمالك.

الأهلي يلتقي مع الزمالك، في إطار المنافسة على لقب كأس السوبر المصري لموسم 2021، والذي سيقام في أبوظبي، يوم الجمعة المقبل 28 أكتوبر الجاري.

وقال العريفي خلال حديثه لبرنامج “جمهور التالتة” على قناة “أون تايم سبورتس1”: “نرحب بتكريم الرموز الرياضية المصرية، ولكن حتى الآن لم يتم الاتفاق على ذلك”.

وأضاف: “حسب معلوماتي المؤكدة أن حكام مباراة السوبر سيكونوا أجانب وليسوا من الإمارات”.

وتابع: “ستكون هناك فاعليات قبل مباراة السوبر بـ3 ساعات، وسيكون هناك حفلات ومطرب مصري مشهور هو أحمد سعد سيقدم حفلًا على هامش المباراة”.

وواصل: “التذاكر حتى الآن تم بيعها جميعًا مناصفة بين الجمهورين، يتبقى فقط أقل من 1000 تذكرة، بجانب المقصورة الرئيسية”.

وأردف: “غدًا سنعلن عن الممنوعات التي لن تدخل مع الجماهير في المباراة، وستكون قائمة الممنوعات أيضًا على تذكرة اللقاء، (الباور البانك) ممنوع لأننا نواجه مشكلة في كل حدث بسببه”.

وأتم: “سيتم السماح بـ”تيفو” لجمهور الزمالك والأهلي بعد موافقة كل ناد، ووصلنا بالفعل 3 طلبات من قبل جمهور الفريقين على تدشين “تيفو” في السوبر”.

Sialkot Stallions confirmed their status as the pre-eminent Twenty20 side in the land, beating Faisalabad Wolves at a packed National Stadium in Karachi to lift their fifth consecutive RBS Twenty20 Cup.A raucous 30,000-plus crowd – thousands of fans were left outside the stadium trying to get in and roads leading up to the stadium were choked full – turned up to watch what should have been a tense encounter between the two best sides in the country, but once Sialkot’s opening bowlers had crippled Faisalabad’s start, the result was never in doubt, the defending champions ultimately cruising to a five-wicket win.Having won the toss and chosen to bat, Faisalabad’s troubles began early, the in-form and ever-dangerous Asif Hussain inside edging Asif onto his stumps. That set the tone for an exemplary spell from Asif, honing in on a typically difficult length and getting the usual cut. He was unlucky not to get at least one more wicket, eventually conceding only nine runs in his four overs.The pressure paid off at the other end, Mohammad Salman and Ali Waqas falling in quick succession to Abdul Razzaq, both to poor shots; Waqas had been lucky to survive that far, given not out for a clear edge off Asif. Nineteen for 3 after four overs meant Faisalabad were desperately looking towards man of the moment Mohammad Hafeez to come through.Hafeez had been outstanding in the semi-final with the tournament’s first hundred and looked set for another big hand when lofting two big sixes over the on side off a Razzaq over. But just when things were looking up, misfortune struck. Khurram Shehzad patted a stroke back to Abdur Rehman, who had just come on to bowl. Smartly Rehman turned the ball back on to the non-striker’s stumps, with Hafeez, backing up, well short.That turned the innings and Rehman trapped Shehzad off the last ball of the same over with a lovely arm ball. The arm ball struck again in his next over, Zeeshan Butt sent back this time, caught brilliantly by Shoaib Malik at cover diving to his left.At 56 for 6, Sialkot were right on top and the fall of wickets suffocated the opposition – they managed only one boundary in the next four overs. Misbah-ul-Haq tried to steer his side to some kind of total and with Shahid Nazir at least ensured they didn’t lose more wickets. But he fell eventually, trying to cut loose and holing out to deep midwicket off Sarfraz Ahmed for 27. Rana Naved-ul-Hasan uprooted Mohammad Talha’s middle stump with a yorker in the final over as Faisalabad ended with an unsatisfactory 109. That they didn’t get bowled out was the only saving grace.Imran Nazir began the chase like he wanted to finish it off in five overs, hitting a four and a six off the first two balls. But as is often the way with him, the cameo was shorter than it was sweet and he was back in the pavilion after the third ball, spooning it straight to cover.Mansoor Amjad fell the next over to spark a little hope in Faisalabad, but Rana, fresh from a near-hundred at one down, pinch-hit his way to 27 with five fours and a six. Even when Malik fell to leave Sialkot 56 for four, the result wasn’t really in doubt, so strong is their line-up. Razzaq, who joined them this season after snubbing his home team Lahore, continued his contributions, smacking four consecutive fours off Talha to hasten the victory march.The only blip came by way of some crowd trouble in the 15th over when Hafeez threatened to take his team off the field after some bottles were thrown from a boisterous crowd. He didn’t go off and soon after, Adeel Malik, Shoaib’s younger brother, sealed the deal with a succession of boundaries to maintain Sialkot’s supremacy in this format. With the team that they have, the PCB may well rue their decision to not allow a local team to represent Pakistan in the Champions League.

Fabrizio Romano has backed up previous reports that Newcastle United are now ‘keen’ on signing Benoit Badiashile in the January transfer window.

The Lowdown: Botman off?

Romano has confirmed that the deal to try and bring Sven Botman to St. James’ Park has ‘collapsed’, meaning that they will now have to look at other targets in the centre-back area.

They have conceded no fewer than 42 goals the Premier League so far this season, the second-worst in the division, and so bringing in a new central defender should help improve that number.

Nick Hammond has already secured the signings of Kieran Trippier and Chris Wood, and the North East club can now target the centre-half position over the next few days.

The Latest: Badiashile interest

As per Romano, the Tyneside outfit are now ‘keen’ on doing a deal for Badiashile, although West Ham United are also ‘interested’ in his signature, and the AS Monaco ace has recently picked up an injury:

“Newcastle are keen on Benoit Badiashile after Botman deal collapsed. West Ham are also interested. Nothing agreed yet.

“From today’s medical tests, AS Monaco expect Badiashile to be back with the team in 2-3 weeks. Timing will be key to understand next steps.”

The Italian’s update comes after previous reports from The Sun believed the clubs to be ‘in talks’ over a deal.

The Verdict: Sign

If the Botman deal cannot be done, then the Magpies need to bring in another centre-back fast, as crucial games like the one at home to Watford on Saturday afternoon are coming thick and fast.

Although Badiashile has no experience in England, he has been playing at a high level in Ligue 1 and in the UEFA Europa League, despite being just 20 years of age.

Described as a ‘tenacious’, ‘strong’ and ‘fast’ player by Football Talent Scout Jacek Kulig, the Frenchman has a bit of everything, and could certainly thrive in the Premier League.

Nonetheless, if Eddie Howe’s team can scoop him up in this window ahead of David Moyes’ high-flying Hammers, then it would represent a real sign of intent.

Wolves are ready to turn down the opportunity to re-sign Matt Doherty from Tottenham this month, according to a fresh transfer rumour.

The Lowdown: Doherty tipped for Wolves return

The 29-year-old has struggled to make a significant impact at Spurs since leaving Molineux in 2020, making just 42 appearances in the last couple of seasons.

As such, Doherty has been linked with a return to Wolves in the January transfer window, in a move that could potentially go down well with Wanderers supporters given his incredible production in his last spell with the club, scoring 28 times in over 300 appearances..

If a new report is to be believed, however, the 25-cap Republic of Ireland international will not be making his way back to the Midlands.

The Latest: Contrasting rumour emerges

According to The Mirror, Wolves are ‘ready to snub’ a return for Doherty, with the player himself not thought to be keen on the idea of a move back.

The right-back still wants to remain in the Premier League, however, and an exit from Spurs could still be on the cards.

The Verdict: Could be an error

Doherty was a brilliant servant for Wanderers over many years, so the idea of missing out on a reunion with him is disappointing.

Granted, the former Black Country star is about to turn 30 later this month but he has been hailed as ‘absolutely superb’ by Danny Mills in the past and his attacking quality is undeniable, having registered 41 assists for Wolves last time out – that sort of creativity from the flank would not go amiss.

He would provide ideal competition and support for Nelson Semedo, adding depth in a position that requires players to maintain an immense level of fitness.

Manchester United have not made any moves in the transfer window so far, but with three weeks left the club has been linked with a number of players, especially in the defensive midfield position.

However, there has been an update on one particular target.

What’s the word?

Fabrizio Romano has revealed on Twitter, that there have been no further developments on Manchester United’s pursuit for Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder, Denis Zakaria.

Romano tweeted on Monday:

“Manchester United have made no bid for Denis Zakaria as things stand. The option has been discussed as he’s appreciated by Rangnick – but there’s still no official bid to Borussia.

“More than four clubs are already working to sign Zakaria as free agent in July. Open race.”

United are reportedly joined by a number of clubs interested in signing the 25-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer, including Premier League clubs, Everton, Leicester and Arsenal, and if the Italian transfer insider’s tweet is to be believed, the chase for his signature remains wide open.

Fans will be gutted

Signing a defensive midfielder has been a long term prospect, especially in the eyes of the fans who have been crying out for in the side for over a year, so they will surely be gutted that no progress has been made on signing the Swiss target.

Taking to social media after a number of poor defensive performances from the Red Devils this season so far, citing how desperately the position needs to be filled, with one Man United fan tweeting:

“2 years ago we looked doomed at end of January after losing at home to Burnley. We signed Bruno, had a great run towards the end of the season and finished 3rd. Something similar needs to happen, but with a defensive midfielder if we’re to save this season.”

Zakaria has been impressive in his position for Gladbach, scoring two goals and bagging one assist for the Bundesliga side so far this season, with a 50% successful tackle rate. Meanwhile, he has completed 702 of his 777 passes successfully during his 14 appearances according to infogol.

All hope is not lost though, as Romano did hint in the aforementioned post that Rangnick has shown interest in the player and is “appreciated” by the German coach. Thus, it will likely not be the last time we see a connection made between the Switzerland international and the Manchester club, however, another club could swoop for the popular defensive midfielder if progress isn’t made soon.

The freshly appointed manager has a lot of work to do to get Manchester United into shape, but with an FA Cup win against Aston Villa on Monday evening, it will have given the fans a much needed boost after a disappointing performance in their last Premier League game against Wolves, when they lost at Old Trafford last week.

O Corinthians criou uma espécie de setor internacional para suas categorias de base. A intenção do Timão é principalmente facilitar o agendamento de amistosos e fazer parceria com clubes estrangeiros. O projeto ainda não está finalizado.

O Timão, inclusive, está prestes a fechar uma parceria com o Shanghai (CHN) para 2018. O clube chinês ofereceu um jogador para ficar uma temporada no Corinthians, que receberia uma quantia por isso e ainda ficaria com um percentual de uma futura venda. O acordo já está com o departamento jurídico alvinegro.

– O Shanghai nos procurou recentemtente para propor uma parceria. Fizemos um amistoso e eles pediram para escolhermos um jogador. Então, esse jogador fica aqui uma temporada e no final é vendido lá – afirmou o gerente da base do Corinthians, Fernando Yamada, que vê como positivo esse tipo de parceria.

– Faz sentido. Na largada vem o recurso e você ainda fica com percentual do jogador. Ele volta para a China, começa a jogar e no momento que for vendido você tem um percentual da venda – explicou Yamada.

Yamada, por outro lado, que da eleição presidencial que acontecerá em fevereiro de 2018, que pode brecar o projeto dependendo de quem assumir o cargo máximo do clube. O gerente da base também fez mistério sobre quem será o responsável pelo setor internacional e só deu dicas: é um ex-jogador que “fez muito sucesso”.

– Tem e eleição em fevereiro, mas está nas mãos do (advogado Luiz Felipe) Santoro. Já fizemos duas reuniões, o responsável é um ex-jogador, que fez muito sucesso como atleta, foi referência. Dando tudo certo, vai ser muito legal – disse Yamada.

Outro objetivo desse “setor” internacional é realocar jogadores que não serão aproveitados no profissional.

– Tem jogador que tem oito anos de clube e não vai subir para o profissional. Vai fazer o que? Rodar em equipes que não têm estrutura, não vão receber salários… Criamos uma recolocação no mercado internacional. No leste europeu, recebe-se muito bem esse tipo de jogador – declarou Yamada.

O gerente evitou chamar esse projeto de “departamento” internacional. Os objetivos que foram mostrados são: intercâmbios de atletas e comissões técnicas; captação de recursos; seleção de torneios internacionais; aspecto comercial: plano de carreira para o atleta e retorno de investimento pelo período no departamento de formação.

Base autossustentável

Yamada e o diretor Carlos Nei Nujud acreditam que a base pode ser autossustentável. Além da captação de recursos com o departamento internacional, eles querem o dinheiro vindo do mecanismo de solidariedade da Fifa para clubes formadores seja investido na própria base, e não no profissional, como acontece atualmente.

Recentemente, por exemplo, o Corinthians recebeu R$ 1,1 milhão por conta da venda do volante Paulinho do Guangzhou Evergrande (CHN) para o Barcelona (ESP).

Torneios de olho na Libertadores

Com o departamento internacional, o Corinthians acredita que ficará mais fácil participar de amistosos no exterior. No início de outubro, o sub-20 do Timão participou de dois amistosos na Espanha a convite da patrocinadora Estrella Galicia.

– Recebemos vários convites, mas não sabemos qual é bom ou não. Ter um departamento só para isso é importante – avaliou Yamada.

Além de torneios na Europa, o Timão quer participar de pelo menos um por ano na América do Sul. Essa estratégia é uma espécia de preparação para a Libertadores do profissional.

– Qual é o ápice do jogador brasileiro aqui? É a Libertadores. Mas na base jogamos no Brasil e quando vamos para fora é Europa. Vamos colocar na agenda um torneio na Europa e outro na América do Sul para ajudar nesse processo – disse Yamada.
